NMU Admission Requirements
To be admitted into NMU, candidates are required to meet the following requirements:
Undergraduate Programs:
Candidates must have five credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent.
Candidates must have a minimum score of 160 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Candidates must have chosen NMU as their first or second choice institution in the UTME.
Candidates must have scored at least 50% in the NMU Post UTME Screening Test.
Postgraduate Programs:
Candidates must have a minimum of a Second Class Lower Division in their Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
Candidates must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 on a 5-point scale or its equivalent in their Bachelor’s degree.
